The DPRC has a number of assistive hardware devices available for eligible members of the campus community:
The DPRC has a variety of Braille Hardware available including printers, embossers, readers, and note-taking devices. More information on Braille Devices.
Video magnifiers such as closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs) and portable magnifiers use a stand-mounted or a handheld video camera to project a magnified image onto a video monitor, a television screen, or a computer monitor. More Information on Video Magnifiers.
The DPRC offers Smart Pens for use as a note taking device. It can record audio from your lectures, in addition to recording the handwritten notes that you take in class. More information on Smart Pens.
